Application Guide
Quick tips on how to navigate and use TB Planner.
Calendar View ( Icon)
- View your training plan in a monthly or weekly calendar format.
- Click on any day to view and edit its workout details.
- Use the navigation buttons to move between months/weeks.
- Toggle between month and week views using the buttons in the top-right.
- For SE/HIC days, you can change the assigned SE Cluster or HIC Protocol directly from the details panel.
- Mark workouts as complete (disabled for future dates).
- Convert a workout day to a rest day (this will shift subsequent workouts in that plan).
- Re-order the activities within that plan's week.
- End the current plan early from the selected day onwards.
New Plan Wizard ( Icon)
- Create a new training plan by clicking the '+' icon in the header.
- Follow the step-by-step wizard to configure your plan:
- Select a program (e.g., Operator, Zulu, etc.)
- Choose your start date
- Select your lift cluster and default SE/HIC protocols
- Configure your weekly schedule
- Review and save your plan to see it on the calendar.
- The wizard checks for conflicts with existing plans before saving.
Settings Page ( Icon)
- Access by clicking the gear icon in the top-left of the header.
- Scheduled Plans: View all your plans, see start/end dates, and delete them.
- 1RM & Training Maxes: Enter your 1 Rep Max (1RM) for key lifts and set a Training Max (TM) percentage. The app calculates your TMs, which are then used for weight calculations in plans.
- Custom SE/HIC: Define your own Strength-Endurance (SE) clusters and High-Intensity Conditioning (HIC) protocols. These become available in the New Plan Wizard and when editing individual days.
- Application Data: Option to clear all stored application data (plans, 1RMs, custom items).
Tips & Best Practices
- Always set your 1RMs and Training Max percentages before creating a new plan to ensure accurate weight calculations.
- Use the "Surprise Me" option for SE/HIC protocols to add variety to your training.
- You can customize individual workout days even after creating a plan.
- The app automatically handles weight calculations for Max Strength days based on your training maxes.
- Use the month view for long-term planning and the week view for detailed daily management.
